Job Requirements
Minimum of 7 to 10 years of combined HVAC field/management experience.
Associates degree in HVAC or equivalent field experience. EPA certification.
Working knowledgeable of commercial and residential HVAC operation, installation, repair, and maintenance.
Working knowledge of HVAC tools, materials, PPE, and safe work practices.
Working knowledge of OSHA safety programs on lock out/tag out, fall protection, confined space, personal protective equipment, asbestos, hazardous chemicals, and other OSHA programs.
Working knowledgeable of HVAC national, state, local code requirements, accepted industry standards and practices.
Able to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, submittals, installation instructions, owners and maintenance manuals.
Demonstrate computer skills proficiency with software applications for office, planning, scheduling, load calculation, duct system layout, system design, system applications, and equipment start-up, and commissioning.
Demonstrate supervisory principles, scheduling practices, methods, organizational, planning, reading and writing skills.
Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills including tact and diplomacy.Demonstrate the ability to supervise, coordinate, and delegate scheduling of subordinate personnel, installation, and service crews.
Demonstrate the ability to estimate time and materials needed for commercial and residential retrofit projects.
Demonstrate the ability to prepare and present proposals for commercial and residential retrofit projects.
Must maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
Possess a willing and flexible disposition because of the demands of shared work tasks with service, construction, controls, project management, estimating, and administration departments.
Ability to maintain a positive, willing, and trainable attitude.
Ability to get along with and work well with people on all levels and departments within and outside the organization.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to lead, manage, and help train an installation team.

Job Duties and REsponsibilities
- Screens incoming estimate opportunities with project coordinator. Schedules and performs estimate appointments for commercial and residential retrofit prospects. Estimates costs for equipment, materials, labor, subcontractors, tools, rentals, and permits. Prepares and delivers retrofit quotations to customers. Maintains relationships with key clients.
- Works directly with service manager, service supervisors, service foremen, project coordinator, service coordinator, and maintenance coordinator to schedule, manage, and oversee daily activities of residential and commercial retrofit project installations.
- Works in cooperation with Project Coordinator on a daily/weekly basis to schedule installation service work orders and retrofit projects. Coordinates and supervises emergency retrofit work order and project situations.
- Prepares and manages electronic project folders and files and necessary for each project. Coordinates with project coordinator daily/weekly to open and process installation work orders and projects. Schedules and coordinates project turnovers with assigned installation personnel prior to project start date. Assists in the ordering of equipment, material, scheduling, and completion of projects.
- Coordinates with project coordinator daily/weekly to process and complete all project inspections, billing, warranty processing, extended protection, rebate, financing, or leasing programs. Assists with Interviewing and hiring new installation technicians and apprentices. Evaluates existing installation technicians for training, promotions, raises, disciplinary action, and motivation. Provides technical assistance as needed diagnosis, reporting, and resolve of mechanical equipment and controls installation issues.
- Advises, trains, and seeks out training opportunities for lesser skilled installation technicians in new methods or procedures. Initiates “best practice” measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of work.
- Assumes the lead role on all large-scale warranty issues, directs and facilitates all necessary warranty paperwork and vendor communication with project coordinator to recover all possible warranty credits.
- Oversees that appropriate employee safety training is completed, certifications are maintained, and compliance is enforced. Other duties, responsibilities, tasking, and special projects as assigned by management or ownership.

Compensation: $100,000 to $150,000.00+ per year (Salary, plus incentive)

Schedule:
• 8-hour shift
• Day shift (normally 7am-4:00pm)
• Monday thru Friday
Education:
• High school or GED equivalent (Required)
• HVAC Associates Degree or Certificate (Preferred) or equivalent field experience.
Experience:
• 7 to 10 Years of commercial/residential HVAC retrofit field management experience (Required)
License/Certification:
• Driver's License (Required)
• EPA Type II or Universal (Required)
